To mark Women’s Month this March, Arte Bettina is mounting “Endless Possibilities IV,” a solo exhibit of Naomi Banal’s huge abstract works in an enticing mix of bold colors and neutrals.
“As we celebrate Women’s Month, I embrace the power of being a woman who is an artist, a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter and an aunt. In my mid-50s, there are no limits. Being a woman means being unstoppable,” says the artist.
Each piece in this collection reflects her boundless creativity and her belief in art’s endless possibilities. Banal’s signature translucent layers floating in vibrant colors find pride of place in some of the exhibited canvases. A clean and minimalist look takes over the artist’s other frames as she explores the white-on-white palette as well as organic, earth colors on her now famous sheer shapes.
The exhibit runs from 1 to 13 March at Arte Bettina in Greenbelt 5 in the Ayala Center, Makati City.
