The Intramuros Administration (IA) announced that certain areas of the Walled City will be temporarily closed on 27 February 2025, to accommodate the launch of the Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli Project Phase 3.
The event, scheduled from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., marks another milestone in the ongoing revitalization of the Pasig River, particularly the 305-meter Fort Santiago Riverwalk, which will link Fort Santiago to the Pasig River Esplanade.
“We seek your kind cooperation and understanding since there will be ‘areas within Intramuros that will be temporarily closed and/or inaccessible due to the expected arrival of relevant dignitaries and significant personalities from the Philippine government and private sector,’” the statement said.
An event map was provided for guidance.
Originally set for 17 February, the launch was postponed due to inclement weather.
The decision regarding the postponement was made to ensure the safety and comfort of the public.
