Two male drug offenders, subject to arrest warrants, were apprehended in separate operations conducted by Manila Police District (MPD) Stations 12 (Del Pan) and 8 (Sta. Mesa).
In Del Pan, police arrested Joseph Piano alias “Dudong” along Isla Bungad, Parola Compound, Barangay 20, Tondo, Manila, at about 4:45 p.m. on 14 February 2025.
His arrest was based on a warrant issued by Judge Danilo Leyva of RTC 175, Manila, for violation of RA 9165, with bail recommended at P1,000.
In Sta. Mesa, under MPD-PS 8, police arrested Miguel Bautista in front of 4856 Rosal Street, corner Dama De Noche, Barangay 598, Sta. Mesa, Manila, at about 10:05 a.m. on 16 February 2025.
His arrest was based on a warrant issued by Judge Felino Zabala Elefante of Regional Trial Court Branch 104, Quezon City, on 18 November 2024, for violation of RA 9165.
No bail was recommended; the accused will serve his sentence.
