The place to go if you’re looking for a romantic, flower-filled getaway close to Baguio is Northern Blossom in Atok, Benguet.
We just traveled there with our family, and I must say that it was reminiscent of New Zealand.
Northern Blossom Flower Farm is a floral paradise that resembles a postcard, yet it’s only two hours’ drive from Baguio City, nestled in the Benguet mountains.
It was a memorable experience because of the clear mountain air, undulating scenery and colorful flower meadows. The farm was a visual feast, with hydrangeas, snapdragons and the well-known cabbage roses.
I feel like we were taken directly to the verdant fields of New Zealand, and the misty, cool weather complemented the whole out-of-the-country feel.
Creating family memories was the main goal of this trip, not merely taking in the scenery. We strolled across the vibrant fields, captured countless Instagram-worthy photos, and simply enjoyed the serene ambiance. Atok felt calm and unspoiled in contrast to the busy tourist attractions in Baguio, making it the ideal place to spend some time away from the bustle of the city.
Go early! The farm opens at 6 a.m., and trust me, the sunrise views are magical.
Dress warmly. Atok can get super chilly, so layering up is a must.
Bring extra cash. There’s an entrance fee, and you might want to take home some fresh flowers.
Respect the blooms. Avoid stepping on the flower beds to keep them pristine for other visitors.
Nothing less than spectacular characterized our vacation to Northern Blossom. Atok, Benguet, ought to be on your bucket list if you’re pining for a cool getaway that doesn’t require a passport but yet has a lot of New Zealand vibes. This location is a must-see for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway, whether they are a nature lover, an avid photographer, or someone else entirely!
Should I return? inside a heartbeat. I could spend a lifetime reliving this floral fantasy!
