In order to give travelers from the City of Love a quicker and more economical way to see Thailand, Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced that it is set to launch a direct flight between Iloilo and Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok.
Beginning on 31 March 2025, CEB will fly three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between Iloilo and Bangkok-Don Mueang. With this, CEB is the only airline operating nonstop service between Bangkok and Iloilo.
Bangkok is the third overseas destination to which CEB will fly from Iloilo. Aside from that, the airline operates direct flights from Iloilo to Hong Kong and Singapore.
"Offering more tourists the chance to see Bangkok's splendor makes us very happy. We can connect even more passengers from the Western Visayas region to exciting destinations across our international network by strengthening our Iloilo hub," CEB president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao stated.
From 12 to 16 February 2025, travelers can book tickets from Iloilo to Bangkok for as low as P1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, to add excitement to the route debut. The travel period will run from 31 March to 25 October 2025.
Travelers can book flights and take advantage of various add-ons using their existing travel fund. Other payment methods that CEB provides include e-wallets and credit or debit cards.
Now that flights from Iloilo are more widely available and reasonably priced, travelers can explore Thailand's Buddhist temples, savor Thai food and treats, and take in the country's amazing entertainment and nightlife.
