Marvel’s First Family finally comes home in the teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The teaser was first released during the “Prepare 4 Launch” event with the film’s cast, led by Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, home of Space Camp, in Huntsville, Alabama.
The new Fantastic Four movie is set in a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pascal) leading his team, consisting of his girlfriend Sue Richards/Invisible Woman, hot-headed rebel Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and best friend Ben Grimm/The Thing — as they face their most daunting challenge yet: balancing heroics and family life.
The teaser also revealed how the four heroes gained their powers after being exposed to cosmic radiation and how they must cope with the isolation and responsibilities of their new reality. Also in the film are the planet-eating Galactus, voiced by Ralph Ineson, and H.E.R.B.I.E. the Robot.
This will be the fourth live-action iteration of Marvel's First Family and the first movie of Phase Six. The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set for release on 25 July 2025.
