Garcia, Serdenia hang on to Mango Tee lead

John Baron Garcia and David Serdenia hung on to the lead in the overall gross division halfway through the 37th Mango Tee Invitational at Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa on Tuesday.

Garcia and Serdenia completed their rounds on Monday, combining for 143 points, an output that was untouched at the close of Tuesday’s hostilities.

Justin Tambunting and Terence Macatangay fired 69 to take second spot with 137, two points ahead of Raymond Suarez and Marty Ilagan.

Raymond Abelido and Temmie Lambino turned in 76 points to pace the overall net class with 163.

Running second with 161 was the tandem of Alexander Corrales and Richard Chua.

The other division leaders were Arbie Jacinto-Ramil Gutierrez, Platinum; Raymond Abelido-Temie Lambino, Gold; Alexander Corrales-Richard Chua, Silver; and Rafael Garcia-Enrique Camacho, Bronze.

Another batch of players see action on Wednesday.
