Garcia, Serdenia lead Mango Tee winners

John Baron Garcia and David Serdenia posted an impressive 143 points early on and then watched as the rest of the field struggled to catch up.

In the end, no one could.

As a result, the duo clinched the overall gross division title at the 37th Mango Tee Invitational at Alabang Country Club on Saturday.

In contrast, the battle for the overall net title went down the wire with Raymond Abelido and Temie Lambino hanging on to a one-point victory over Roman and Julio Salvador who combined for 77 points in the final day.

The Salvadors consoled themselves by bagging the Platinum division, two points ahead of Arbie Jacinto and Ramil Gutierrez.

The Gold bracket went to Miguel Villafuerte and Francis Francisco, the Silver to Alexander Corrales-Richard Chua, and Bronze to Leopoldo dela Cruz-Nelson Mendoza.
