An ‘intense’ series of performances is on the horizon as Blackpink’s Jennie announced her three-city tour, The Ruby Experience, in celebration of her debut album, "Ruby."
“Intense and intimate as I like it,” the singer wrote in an Instagram post.
The highly anticipated album, which includes collaborations with Kali Uchis, Dua Lipa, and Doechii, is set for release on 6 March, coinciding with her first show at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Jennie will then head to Radio City Music Hall in New York on 10 March, before wrapping up the tour in Seoul, South Korea, on 15 March.
Tickets for the US shows go on sale 31 January, with pre-sales starting 29 January. Promoted by AEG Presents and sponsored by Spotify, the tour will donate a portion of the proceeds to LA wildfire relief efforts.
According to her agency, Odd Atelier (OA Entertainment), Ruby will "highlight Jennie's boundless musical potential," promising a dynamic and diverse showcase of her artistry.
True enough, the album will be packed with 15 tracks, including collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dominic Fike, and FKJ.
Jennie launched the album era in October with “Mantra,” the lead single from Ruby. The track swiftly gained momentum, charting on the Billboard Hot 100, iTunes, and Spotify’s Daily Top Charts.
As if the album and tour weren't enough to excite fans, Jennie is also set to perform at the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on 13 and 20 April.
