DAVAO CITY — Some 300 personnel of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) will be deployed during the Chinese New Year celebration on 29 January in order to provide public safety.
“These personnel will provide and ensure public safety during the festivities. They will also be responding to any incidents that may happen,” said DCPO spokesperson Captain Hazel Tuazon who reminded the public i of the strict implementation of the firecracker ban ordinance.
Chinese New Year activities also involve the Rizal Park grounds initiated by the City Government of Davao which will be on 28 January at 5 p.m. Chinese New Year decorations are displayed at the Rizal Park grounds t in preparation for the Year of the Snake.
