Global fashion icon Heart Evangelista candidly admitted that she underwent cosmetic enhancement, specifically on her lips, during a recent Instagram reel.

In the video, Evangelista, seated in her car in Paris, reacted to a throwback Candy Magazine cover from 2000, shown by her assistant Tin Villanueva.

“It’s true… I’m just saying the truth. If you don’t accept, well wait for judgement day because this is all real,” Evangelista said, pointing to her face before adding, “Except that,” referring to her lips.

She joked about the disbelief she often encounters, saying, “Ayaw nilang maniwala sa akin. Alam mo one of these days, pupunta talaga ako sa duktor, papa X-ray ako or how they can prove na hindi talaga, mamatay man, seryoso. Eto lang talaga,” again pointing to her lips.

(They don't want to believe me. You know, one of these days, I'm really going to the doctor, I'm going to get an X-ray or however they can prove that it's not real — even if it's death — it's serious. That's all.)

In 2021, Evangelista addressed similar rumors about a nose job, which she strongly denied, reacting to claims made by an anonymous doctor.

“Who is this doctor? Because I can actually tell him I didn’t do my nose and he is lying to you,” she said at the time. “To anyone who claimed the same to you, please message me their names. This is horribly wrong.”

While Evangelista supports the idea of cosmetic surgery for self-improvement, she reiterated that she has not undergone other procedures on her face.

“To anyone out there who wishes to get cosmetic surgery, I am for making yourself a better version. But do not believe if they said they did my face, etc. For the record, I didn’t,” she clarified. “When I’m older and ‘di na kaya tiisin, I don’t mind doing some procedures and I will refer who is good.”

Currently in Paris for Paris Fashion Week, Evangelista continues to cement her status as a global fashion icon. Recognized by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Forbes France, she remains a prominent figure at prestigious fashion events across Europe and Asia.
