Lacuna fetes city administrator

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna has expressed deep appreciation for City Administrator Bernardito Ang and the entire team at the Office of the City Administrator (OCA). Lacuna attributed the success of her administration’s programs to the OCA’s efficient and dedicated work.

“Our City Administrator ensures that all city government undertakings are implemented swiftly and effectively,” Lacuna said. She emphasized the OCA’s critical role in overseeing and coordinating the various departments, bureaus and offices to achieve the city’s goal of becoming a “Magnificent Manila.”

“The responsibility of the Office of the City Administrator is immense,” Lacuna added. “They are tasked with mobilizing the different departments to provide genuine and honest service to our constituents.”

Lacuna highlighted the OCA’s contributions to the city’s image and success. “They are our partners in every endeavor and process related to Manila’s image, so we are truly grateful to the OCA under the leadership of former Councilor and now City Administrator Bernardito C. Ang,” she stated.

Assistant Administrator Joy Dawis explained that the OCA is committed to establishing an efficient and orderly local government. The office heads or co-heads various committees, councils, and task forces, including the Local Finance Committee, Market Committee and Manila Anti-Drug Abuse Council.

Dawis noted that the OCA has been instrumental in documenting the city government’s achievements and securing awards, including the Seal of Good Local Governance.
