LIMAY, Bataan — Mayor Richie Jason David of this town assured the public Sunday that he is doing something to put the public cemetery here in order.
David’s action came in the wake of reports that there are unscrupulous individuals using it as dumping ground for dead infants and small children, used as venue for pot session and source of stolen steel bars.
David said that the public cemetery is already heavily congested and that the municipality is doing something to put it in order with the help of Sanitary and municipal health office.
“Our population is getting bigger, an average of seven to 10 are dying weekly; so we together with the council are doing something to address the problem,” he assured.
David asked the public not to believe those floating disinformation and issues to undermine his leadership; some believe that these negative issues against David are politically-motivated to besmirch his reputation as election draws near.
