Authorities arrested an alleged drug pusher in Barangay 141, Caloocan City.

Northern Police District-District Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DDEU) head Police Captain Regie Pobadora disclosed that the apprehended individual is a drug supplier in Bagong Barrio and nearby areas in Quezon City.

In a report submitted to NPD acting district director PCOL Josefino Ligan, a buy-bust operation was conducted last Saturday where an estimated 65 grams of suspected shabu, with a street value of at least P442,000, was recovered from an individual known only as “Tita.”

Tita, a 45-year-old Quezon City resident, is listed as a high-value individual and was arrested in Galler Subdivision in Barangay 141.

“She [Tita] confessed that she only sells drugs and doesn’t use any,” Pobadora said, adding that they are waiting for the results from the crime laboratory to confirm the suspect’s claim.

After a successful one-month surveillance, Pobadora said that Tita’s usual buyers are selling the narcotics to drivers passing through the North Luzon Expressway.

He added that daily, Tita sells at least 50 to 100 grams of shabu, which has an equivalent street value of at least P340,000 to P680,000.

The arrested suspect is currently detained at the Northern Police District Custodial Facility in Caloocan City, while the recovered drugs were sent to the Northern Police District Forensic Unit for examination.

Tita is facing charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
