The second rope of andas using to carry the image of Jesus Nazareno has snapped Thursday night, according to the Nazareno Operation Center.
According to the Nazareno Operation Center, as of 6:40 PM, the second rope of andas snapped near San Sebastian Church.
With no one currently pulling the Andas, it is now being manually pushed instead.
“Maraming deboto po ang dumagsa ngayong hapon, ganda ng panahon at mga humabol galing sa kanilang trabaho sa ibang city bukod sa holiday ang Manila (Many devotees flocked in the afternoon because the weather was good so they went straight from their work, aside from that it is holiday in Manila),” a representative of Quiapo Church told reporters.
The first rope, meanwhile snapped along Finance Road going to Ayala Boulevard.
