  • The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Saunday released the official ballot template for May 2025 midterm elections.

    The ballot consists of 66 senatorial bets 155 party-list groups.

    Among running for Senatorial seats are reelectionists Senators Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Pia Cayetano, Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Christopher “Bong” Go, Lito Lapid, Imee Marcos, and Francis Tolentino.

    Also familiar names include former Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, former Senator Bam Aquino, Makati Mayor Abigail Binay, former lawmaker Teddy Casiño, ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro, ex-Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales, ex-Senators Gringo Honasan and Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, AGRI Party-list Rep. Wilbert Lee, and SAGIP Party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta.

    Joining them are former lawmaker Liza Maza, former state auditor Heidi Mendoza, doctor-vlogger Willie Ong, ex-Senators Manny Pacquiao and Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, detained televangelist Apollo Quiboloy, TV personalities Willie Revillame and Phillip Salvador, former presidential spokesperson Atty. Vic Rodriguez, business tycoon Chavit Singson, former Senator Tito Sotto, and House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.

    Labor leaders Leody Garcia, Luke Espiritu, and Sonny Matula are also joining the Senate race.

    Current survey topnotchers brothers Erwin and Ben Tulfo are also on the ballot.

    Completing the list are Jerome Adonis, Wilson Amad, Alyn Andamo, Ronnel Arambulo, Ernesto Arellano, Roberto Ballon, Jimmy Bondoc, Bonifacio Bosita, Arlene Brosas, Roy Cabonegro, Allen Capuyan, David D’Angelo, Angelo de Alban, Mimi Doringo, Arnel Escobal, Mody Floranda, Marc Louie Gamboa, Jayvee Hinlo, Relly Jose, Raul Lambino, Amirah Lidasan, Norman Marquez, Eric Martinez, Marites Mata, Joey Montemayor, Jose Jessie Olivar, Ariel Querubin, Danilo Ramos, Nur-Ana Sahidulla, Michael Tapado, Mar Valbuena, and Leandro Verceles.

    The poll body will start the printing of ballots on Monday, 6 January. The election period will begin 12 January.
