The film has amassed an estimated $634.4 million globally, with $424.2M from domestic earnings and $210.2M from international markets.
Directed by Jon M. Chu, Wicked has broken multiple records, including becoming the biggest Broadway adaptation domestically and the top-grossing stage musical adaptation in 46 markets.

Currently, Wicked ranks as the sixth highest-grossing movie of 2024 and is the only non-sequel in the top six. The films that have outperformed it this year are Dune: Part Two, Moana 2, Despicable Me 4, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Inside Out 2.
