Two of the most wanted persons in the southern Metro area were arrested by elements of the Southern Police District (SPD) on the first day of 2025.
In a significant accomplishment for law enforcement, the top 3 most wanted person of Las Piñas City Police Station and the top 4 most wanted person were apprehended.
Reports showed that in Taguig City, alias Adelbert was arrested at 2:30 PM at his residence in Upper Bicutan.
The operation was led by the Warrant and Subpoena Unit of the Taguig City Police Station. Alias Adelbert, 27, was wanted for multiple charges, including Acts of Lasciviousness and two counts of Statutory Rape, under Criminal Case Nos. 8999, 9000, and 9001.
These warrants were issued by the Honorable Desiree Gertrude G. Orquiola-Moldez, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 163, Taguig City, with no bail recommended. Upon arrest, alias Adelbert was informed of his constitutional rights in a language he understood.
He was taken to Taguig Pateros District Hospital for a medical examination before being documented at the police station and turned over to the Custodial Facility, where he will remain pending a commitment order from the court of origin.
In a separate operation, the top 3 most wanted person in Las Piñas City, known as alias Richard, was apprehended at around 4:40 PM at his residence in Santa Rita Compound, Barangay Talon Uno.
The arrest was executed by the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Las Piñas City Police Station. Alias Richard, a 36-year-old steel worker, was wanted for Acts of Lasciviousness under Criminal Case No. 24-1232.
The warrant was issued by Hon. Judge Nerina C.N. Anastacio Mendinueto of Regional Trial Court Branch-202, Las Piñas City, with a recommended bail of Php 200,000.00. Alias Richard was similarly informed of his constitutional rights and was taken into custody without incident.
He will remain at the Station Custodial Facility of the Las Piñas City Police Station until his warrant of arrest is returned to the court of origin.
