Angelique Manto, David Guison bring romantic engagement to Paris

Social media personalities Angelique Manto and her longtime boyfriend, David Guison, are officially engaged!

The beauty queen shared the exciting news on Instagram on Sunday, showcasing a dazzling diamond ring alongside a heartwarming caption: “Fit checks with you, forever?”

The couple, who began sharing glimpses of their Paris, France trip on 12 December, made the City of Love the backdrop for their milestone moment.

Guison has consistently been a supportive partner to Manto, with the duo often showing that they are each other's biggest fans. This was especially evident when Manto competed as a Miss Universe Philippines candidate in June last year, where she earned the title of 2nd runner-up.

In a heartfelt Instagram post back in June, Manto expressed her gratitude to Guison for his unwavering support. “Thank you for supporting me in my pursuit to the universe, and taking me to see parts of it—til our next adventure!” she wrote.

“A long overdue post, but words can’t even explain the mountains you’ve moved and the love from that heart of yours that you’ve poured for me over the past months,” she added. 

The newly engaged couple have gained popularity with their shared adventures and numerous fit checks on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
