
The Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu welcomed the holiday season with a grand Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony themed “Making Moments Merry and Bright.” The event transformed the hotel’s lobby into a festive wonderland, featuring a majestic 32-foot azure-themed Christmas tree adorned with giant blue ribbons.
Guests enjoyed enchanting musical performances by tenor Arman Ferrer and soprano Myramae Meneses. It also included the Cebu Normal University Chorale directed by choirmaster Darlene Yap and the Cebu Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jiovanni Tabada.
Amiable general manager Marko Janssen emphasized the importance of honoring time-honored traditions and invited everyone to embrace the warmth of the season and partake in the festivities throughout the holidays.

Christmas enchantment descended upon Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu, as the luxurious resort launched the festive season with a dazzling Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony themed “Enchanted Wonders.” The event transported guests to a spectacular celebration of joy, wonder and togetherness.
Honored by the presence of Rep. Ma. Cynthia “Cindi” K. Chan, along with GM Dave Junker, and esteemed guests, the lobby became a haven of holiday cheer. Adding to the festive spirit, the resort also featured “Sleigh Full of Wonders,” a CSR Silent Auction as part of Shangri-La’s Embrace program. Proceeds will benefit Punta Engaño Elementary School by providing audio-visual equipment to enhance the children’s learning experience.
As the evening progressed, guests were treated to an enthralling performance by a symphony orchestra, followed by a theatrical musical play that culminated in the lighting of the whimsical Christmas Tree. The night concluded with attendees savoring an array of delectable canapés and festive drinks.
