A buy-bust operation in Navotas City held last Sunday, 8 December, resulted in the successful arrest of two individuals.
According to Navotas City Police Chief P/Col Mario Cortes, alias Benjamin, and alias Marvin were arrested at Lapu-Lapu Street at Barangay San Roque.
Alias Benjamin, 22, is a resident of Barangay Tangos South in Navotas City, while alias Marvin, 25, is a resident of Tondo, Manila.
Both suspects are jobless and considered street-level individuals (SLI).
The authorities were able to recover a total of 10.3 grams of suspected shabu, which has a street value of P70,400.
They will face cases in violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
