Manila Central University (MCU) marked its 120th anniversary with the announcement of six innovative programs designed to uphold its legacy of educational excellence on Wednesday, 4 December.
These programs, set to launch in the next academic year, reflect MCU’s commitment to providing forward-thinking education that prepares students for evolving career landscapes.
The new offerings include Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology.
“By offering these courses, we aim to uphold our legacy of excellence in education and create a learning environment that prepares students for real-world challenges,” said MCU President Dr. Renato Tanchoco Jr.

Further underscoring its commitment to quality, MCU recently earned the 9th spot in the AppliedHE Private University Rankings 2025 for Philippine Private Schools. This achievement reflects the university’s focus on equipping its graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a dynamic global environment.
