Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has reaffirmed his commitment to uplifting the Filipino people during the Parañaque City Sangguniang Panlungsod Christmas Party last Monday at the Solaire.
In his address, Go commended Mayor Eric Olivarez and Vice Mayor Joan Villafuerte for their dedication to public service.
“We should continue to bring government services closer to our people,” Go said. “Christmas is a season of giving and compassion, and this should be our goal for every Filipino.”
The senator also stressed the need for economic recovery and job security, particularly in light of the lingering effects of various crises.
“Jobs are crucial, as many of our countrymen have yet to fully recover,” said Go. “We need not only more jobs but also adequate income.”
As chair of the Senate Committee on Health, Go reiterated his advocacy for improved healthcare. “Health is equivalent to the life of every Filipino,” he said, underscoring his dedication to public health reform.
Go also highlighted his three flagship programs: Malasakit Centers, Super Health Centers and Regional Specialty Centers.
The lawmaker also distributed gifts to participants, including shirts, candies, basketballs, volleyballs, bicycles, mobile phones, shades and a watch.
On the same day, Go attended the National Youth Commission’s National Youth Convention in Nasugbu, Batangas, and the League of the Municipalities of the Philippines Bohol Chapter Year-End Assessment.
