    • Pasko sa Pilipinas Merry Christmas to the World

As the Philippines prepares for another long Christmas season, a new song is hoping to become part of the country’s familiar holiday soundtrack.

DJ Clauz’s “PASKO SA PILIPINAS (Merry Christmas to the World)” was written specifically for the Philippines, offering an upbeat addition to the Christmas songs Filipinos have enjoyed for generations.

The song is intended to complement, rather than replace, holiday classics associated with artists such as Jose Mari Chan and Mariah Carey. It celebrates the country’s distinctive Christmas tradition, which traditionally begins as early as 1 September when the “BER months” start.

DJ Clauz said he wanted to create a Christmas song that could be enjoyed by people of different ages while encouraging Filipinos to take pride in the country’s holiday traditions.

“I wanted to write a cheerful new Christmas song that everyone could enjoy — from five years old to 100 years old. Most importantly, I want Filipinos to be VERY proud of their Christmas. Filipino Christmas is something special, and I believe it is the best Christmas in the world,” DJ Clauz said.

The song is designed for a range of Christmas settings, including family gatherings, parties, radio playlists, offices, schools and malls. It also aims to bring a taste of Filipino Christmas to the millions of Filipinos living abroad.

Its accompanying video has already surpassed one million views across social media, according to the press release, as radio stations, DJs, media outlets and Christmas playlist curators begin preparing for the 2026 holiday season.

“PASKO SA PILIPINAS” is available on major music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music.

The song’s creators hope it becomes part of the soundtrack of the country’s four-month Christmas celebration, capturing the Filipino tradition of welcoming the holiday season early and celebrating it with family, friends and communities.
