Fan-favorite Aurora kept its world championship dream alive following a decisive victory over Ulfhednar on Day 4 of the M6 World Championship Swiss Stage this Sunday at the IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur.
Renejay, Demonkite, Yue, Domeng, and Edward absorbed two straight defeats to open their M6 campaign. On the verge of elimination in this series, Aurora showcased that they remain a team to be reckoned with following a 2-0 win over the Turkish squad.
"I feel like we were overwhelmed by the M6 meta. The meta shifted in the Swiss Stage, so it was new to us. We had to hard reset and fix what needed to be fixed," Aurora jungler Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto said after the match.
"We went back to the problems from when we lost. We prepared long in execution and drafting, and put a lot of effort into our preparation. I am one hundred percent confident [in making a comeback] because we are back in our comfort zone."
Now 1-2 in the grandest stage of professional Mobile Legends, the MPL PH Season 14 runner-up will have to win its next two matches to advance to the Knockout Stage.
