Two special Delta flights took off on Monday, one departing from Austin, Texas, and the other from Dallas-Fort Worth, with the aim of providing a unique vantage point to witness the eclipse at around 30,000 feet above the ground.
Claudine Fernandez, a Filipino living in the US, opted to board the Delta flight from Austin to Detroit, eagerly anticipating the spectacle. Initially uncertain about the experience, she soon found herself captivated by the unfolding event.
"I think it was a better experience to watch it on the ground, on top of a mountain. But Delta did a nice job, making it a unique experience," she remarked.
According to Claudine, the Delta flight, offering a unique view of the eclipse, sold out quickly. Reflecting afterward, Claudine appreciated seeing the eclipse from above.
