The Philippines' top junior player Rianne Malixi placed runner-up Sunday in the Sage Valley Invitational, a run up for the Augusta National Amateurs.
The 16-year-old Malixi had a closing 69 to go with her earlier rounds of 73 and 71 for a three-under 213 total, finishing behind American Asterisk Talley (207).
Talley had 70s in the first two days but pressed on with a 67 Sunday to rule the tournament among the top 24 junior female golfers in the world.
Elia Galitzky of Thailand, Jasmine Koo and Yana Wilson of the US shared third place three shots behind Malixi.
