TRIP TO THE STABLES WITH HERMÈS

TRIP TO THE STABLES WITH HERMÈS
Published on

One of my favorite fashion houses has outdone itself again. Hermès took us on a quick trip to the outskirts of Manila for another one-of-a-kind event. In honor of its equestrian heritage, Rhythm of the Pony leaned into the theme with whimsy. Who's ever had a high fashion event at a barn?

We went to Lakehall at Nena's Sanctuary in Laguna where we were greeted by fashionable stable owners, hay bales and even ponies made of hay. Even the tables had chic centerpieces with horseshoes, carrots and apples. Good thing there were no actual ponies in sight to eat them from our table! The place really transported us to the stables. So, of course, every corner was a chance for a photo op and quick catch-up with fabulous friends.

We got a lively "Pony Dance," too, where the performers were dressed in campy equestrian looks covered in prize ribbons. They got us on our feet and we horsed around on the dance floor with them. So fun!

The non-pony details were also perfection: a fabulous French-Filipino fusion menu by Shangri-La Makati — and champagne! We went home delighted and buzzing, carrying the rhythm of Hermès with us. Congratulations to the team and Mario Katigbak. Can't wait for the next Hermès shindig. You can bet I'll be there! Cheers!
