Investigators of the Manila Police District are investigating the death of a 29- year-old man who jumped from the fourth floor of a building in Tondo, Manila last 28 December.

Authorities identified the victim of an alleged suicide as Ferdinand Pila, 29 years old, single, jobless, residing at Gate-1, Area-A, Barangay 20, Tondo, Manila.

It was learned from police that prior to the incident, the victim and his live-in partner named Angeline Robenta, also 29, single, checker, residing at 4th floor, Gate-1, Area-A, Barangay 20, Tondo, Manila had a heated argument on the night before the victim committed the alleged suicide.

The victim reportedly threatened his live in partner that he  will commit suicide if  she leaves their abode. The incident is the second attempt of the victim to commit suicide but despite this, the police are trying to look if there is a possibility of foul play.
