The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw participated in the 2023 SHOM International Charity Bazaar, held at the COS Torwar, Warsaw, earlier this month.
The event, under the honorary patronage of the Polish president's wife Agata Kornhauser–Duda, was organized by the Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions.
The Philippine Embassy stall showcased Philippine Christmas décors, Cebu best food products (dried mangoes, mango chocolates, La Mesa Filipina Guisantes), as well as Philippine native bags and Philippine pearl jewelries (necklace, earrings, bracelets).
As in previous years, all proceeds from the SHOM charity Christmas bazaar will go to those most in need, supporting Polish charities that care for children, seniors, the sick and disabled people.
This year, a total of 54 embassies participated in the bazaar which were eagerly visited by at least 5,000 people, including government officials and private-sector representatives.
