At the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2023, AirAsia dominated the Leading Low-Cost Airline categories. AirAsia was awarded the World's Leading Low-Cost Airline — for 11 years now — and its service crew likewise winning for the seventh consecutive year.
AirAsia beat over 15 other airlines and received the most votes from industry participants, travelers and travel experts. Before this, AirAsia won the World Travel Awards Asia and Oceania in September as Asia's Leading Low-Cost Airline and Asia's Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew.
AirAsia Aviation Group Limited Group CEO Bo Lingam said these awards symbolize the company's dedication to connecting people with the best value fares, and the efforts of Allstars who consistently go above and beyond to ensure their guests experience a fantastic journey with AirAsia.
The World Travel Awards were founded in 1993 and are widely recognized as one of the most important, extensive and sought-after award programs, honoring excellence in important travel, tourism and hospitality-related fields.
AirAsia Philippines is hosting the 12.12 PasGOGOGO Sale, its final double-digit sale of the year, to encourage more guests to take advantage of its finest offers. For flights from 11 December 2023 to 30 June 2024, travelers can take advantage of a P12 one-way base cost for both domestic and foreign destinations from 11 December to 17 December.
"We would like to give our guests an early Christmas gift. This is also our way of giving thanks to our guests who remained loyal to AirAsia amidst various challenges this year. The recognitions that were accorded to us this year will remain our motivation to continue to provide our guests with the world's best service," AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said.
