Zamboanga City welcomes ‘GoJUST’

ZAMBOANGA CITY — The Governance in Justice — funded by the European Union — recently launched the 11 "Justice Zones" in the country aim to improve access to justice for all Filipinos and contribute to inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development programs of the city.
Zamboanga City Reformatory Center-male dormitory warden Jail Supt Xavier Solda on Sunday said that the Zamboanga City Justice Zone will be composed of the different government agencies involved in justice delivery in Zamboanga City.
Solda added that "Justice Zones" are areas where local justice sectors like the police, prosecutors, public attorneys, judges and prison staff work together to identify common problems and generate common solutions to address them.
The 11 Justice Zones are located in Quezon City, Cebu, Davao, Angeles, Bacolod, Naga, Calamba, Balanga, Baguio, Zamboanga City and Tagaytay City.
