Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto led the City Council in expressing gratitude Tuesday for the city's third Local Legislative Award given by the Department of the Interior and Local Government early this month.
The City Council led by Sotto as its presiding officer was hailed as the most outstanding legislative body in the National Capital Region in the Local Legislative Award 2023.
It was cited for its performance for the period of July 2019 to June 2022 by getting 99.5 percent rating, based on the assessment of the Regional Awards Committee of the LLA.
