Prime Video has announced the cast for the Filipino version of the Takeshi's Castle reboot: Smokey Manaloto, Eugene Domingo and Sassa Gurl.

The beloved Japanese game show's reboot will be available on Prime Video  in the Philippines starting 16 November.

Manaloto, the original host of the Filipino episodes of the show, is making a comeback to the Takeshi's Castle universe. This time, he assumes the role of a  former employee of Takeshi, bringing back his signature snarky commentary and insider's insights into the game.

Joining Manaloto is top-tier comedian Domingo, known for her impeccable comedic timing and versatile acting, and celebrated for her ability to bring characters to life with her unique flair. Representing all the resident chismosas, Domingo is the resident marites of the group.

Internet sensation Sassa Gurl all set to infuse an extra  dose of wit and laughter as she joins the Takeshi's Castle gang, after garnering acclaim for her participation in the Amazon Original reality competition show Drag Den with Manila Luzon.

Rounding up the cast is internet comedian Jun Sabayton playing Shitake, one of Takeshi's henchmen, who explains the rules of the game.

Each episode also features guest-star commentators such as Maris Racal, Zanjoe Marudo and Ketchup Eusebio.

The show is produced by Dan Villegas and Antoinette Jadaone under their production company Project 8 Projects, and is directed by cult-favorite filmmaker RA Rivera.
