Much has been said about Anji Salvacion and Kice So's performances on the mystery thriller series Linlang.

Viewers and critics are calling out the newbie stars, saying their characters are just "panggulo lang sa storya" (distractions to the story) and that they are poor actors.

Salvacion has humbly acknowledged the feedback, saying she knows it will help improve her craft.

"It's being receptive sa lahat ng criticism na ibinibigay sa akin (It's being receptive to all the criticisms given to me). It is to take every criticism in a positive way and learn from it…," she said on X (formerly Twitter).

On the other hand, co-star Kaila Estrada, who is being praised for her acting on the show, thinks some of these comments are below the belt.

"I understand that criticism is part of it. I mean, we welcome it, kasi we learn from the criticism that we receive. But I think some people may have taken it too far. And I really hope that you know, we can just be kinder and nicer, and more responsible in what we say online. Kasi siyempre, hindi naman natin alam yung magiging effect noon sa kanya (Of course, we don't know how the bashing will affect her). I hope people can be nicer," Estrada said.

Dirty Linen actor Christian Bables is one of those who believe Salvacion has the potential to improve and go places.

"I am excited for you to unleash the brilliant actress in you. For as long as you admit, there's a huge room for improvement, ok na 'yun. The rest is ingay lang. Please never give up on your craft. Meron yan Anji, I believe in you," he said.

Bables also appealed to viewers "be kind" and "piliing umunawa" (choose to be understanding).

"Piliing magmahal kaysa makasakit. Piliing matuto (Choose to love instead of hurting others. Choose to learn). We got this," he added.
