The National Housing Authority (NHA)-Region VI, through the Capiz/Aklan/Antique District Office, distributed a total of ₱26.505 million worth of financial assistance to 5,301 typhoon-victim Aklanons over the weekend.

The first distribution was held at the Tangalan Sports Complex while the second part was held at the Calangcang Sports Complex in Makato, Aklan.

The beneficiary families who were affected by Typhoon Ursula on December 24, 2019, each received ₱5,000 cash aid.

NHA Region VI Manager Engr. Hermes Jude D. Juntilo, representing General Manager Joeben Tai, spearheaded the distribution of the cash aid under the NHA's Emergency Housing Assistance Program (EHAP).

EHAP is one of the Authority's programs intended to help calamity-stricken families rebuild their homes.
