The authenticity and passion of Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix is what makes him the ideal actor to Napoleon. From acclaimed director Ridley Scott and starring Phoenix, Napoleon opens in Philippine cinemas on 29 November.
Napoleon is a spectacle-filled action epic that details the checkered rise and fall of the iconic French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, played by Phoenix. Against a stunning backdrop of large-scale filmmaking orchestrated by legendary director Scott, the film captures Bonaparte's relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his one true love, Josephine (Vanessa Kirby), showcasing his visionary military and political tactics in some of the most dynamic battle sequences ever filmed.
The action epic, with a screenplay by David Scarpa, is produced by Ridley Scott, Kevin J. Walsh, Mark Huffam and Joaquin Phoenix.
Napoleon is distributed in the Philippines by Columbia Pictures, the local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
