A 40-year-old woman wanted for selling illegal drugs was nabbed by the authorities in a manhunt operation in Binangonan, Rizal Friday afternoon.
The accused, identified as Edilyn Cestina y Gapole, a resident of Sitio Kalawaan, Barangay Darangan, Binangonan, was collared inside her residence at about 2:55 p.m. Friday.
She was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anna Francesca M. Limbo of Binangonan Regional Trial Court Branch 69 for violation of Section 11 of Article 2 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The accused is now detained at the Binangonan Municipal Police Station custodial facility for documentation and proper disposition.
