PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Palawan — Law enforcement agencies here are scheduled to carry out a counter-terrorism exercise next week named "Tempest Wind" in collaboration with the United States' Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Puerto Princesa City Police Office spokesperson Police Captain Victoria Carmen Inquin said Thursday that the Bilateral Inter-Agency Law Enforcement Counter Terrorism Drill will happen on 9 to 12 September in an effort to enhance preparedness and response capabilities in the face of global threats.
She added that the anti-terror drill will take place in Puerto Princesa in partnership with the US, represented by the FBI, along with various Philippine government agencies, including personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and other local and national entities.
