Fresh from winning her fourth women's professional singles title, Alex Eala continued to catch fire after striking in the women's singles and doubles play in the W25 Aldershot in England on Wednesday.

Just days after stamping her class in the W25 Roehampton, Eala posted a 6-2, 6-4, win over hometown entry Ranah Stoiber in the Round-of-32 then teamed up with Poland's Ursula Radwanaska in the doubles quarterfinal round to whip the top-seeded British pair of Emily Appleton and Lauryn John-Baptiste, 6-3, 7-5.

The graduate of the world-famous Rafael Nadal Academy won the W25 Roehampton women's singles tournament in England last Sunday as she gears up for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from 23 September to 8 October.

"Two good wins today! Had a lot of fun in both matches, going through to the next round in singles and semifinals in doubles tomorrow," Eala said in a social media post.

It took Eala one hour and 39 minutes for her to beat Stoiber as she faces Talia Gibson of Australia in the Round of 16.

The last time Eala and Gibson played against each other, the Filipino netter came out on top after knocking her out, 6-3, 6-1, in the Round of 16 of the W40 Palma del Rio in Spain last June.

In the women's doubles of the W25 Aldershot, Eala and Radwanska defeated Appleton and John-Baptiste in one hour and 18 minutes in their match as the Filipino-Polish duo stayed relevant.

Eala and Radwanska also knocked out British netter Eliz Maloney and Andre Lukosiute of Lithuania, 6-4, 6-4, in the Round of 16 last Tuesday.

The third seed pair of Erina Hayashi and Saki Inamura of Japan are currently facing Eala and Radwanska as of press time.
