Kobe Bryant is NBA 2K24’s cover athlete

Late basketball great Kobe Bryant will grace the beloved video game NBA 2K24 as its cover athlete.

Bryant, who tragically passed away in 2020 from a helicopter crash, is famous for his number 24 jersey during his time with Los Angeles Lakers.

The game, which comes in Kobe Bryant and Black Mamba editions, is now on pre-order for PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The upcoming edition of NBA 2K also comes with a "Crossplay" feature—a game mode that fans have demanded for many years.
