Controversial actress Liza Soberano has returned to the country after making a round in the United States in hopes to get a crack at Hollywood.

According to showbiz pundit Mama Loi, who is a close collaborator with Soberano's ex-manager Ogie Diaz, Soberano was picked up from the airport by her new management company Careless Music.

Mama Loi, in a recent vlog, said it was usually her boyfriend Enrique Gil who fetches her from the airport. He said Gil was even surprised Soberano has returned.

Still, Diaz, in the same vlog, said he feels Soberano and Gil are still very much together.

Over the past months, Soberano rocked social media following her series of controversial revelations about her career, talent management, pay deductions, and even Philippine showbiz's age-old custom of love teams.
