UST partners with SMC

University of Santo Tomas officially announced its partnership with San Miguel Corporation for its sports program early Tuesday.

Per the school's official student publication, The Varsitarian, SMC sports director Alfrancis Chua, an alumnus of UST, has been appointed as the new special assistant to the rector for basketball.

The Tigers recently enlisted former head coach Pido Jarencio to lead the team with former players Japs Cuan and Jeric Fortuna as his assistants.

Also joining UST are Letran College staff led by head coach Bonnie Tan, Jaren Jarencio and team managers Waiyip Chong and Eric Ang.
