President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has appointed Richard Clarin as chairperson of the Games and Amusement Board, Malacañang announced on Thursday.
Clarin is the first to head GAB under the Marcos Jr. administration. He succeeded Abraham Mitra, a former lawmaker and governor of Palawan who held the GAB post since 2016.
Aside from Clarin, Palace press briefer Daphne Paez announced eight new appointees to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Board of Directors.
They are Allan Baquir as a member representing the national government, and Edelberto Mozo and Thomas Fausto Lahom III, representing the business and investment sectors.
Also appointed are acting members to represent the private sector, namely, Honorario Alyado III, Jose Mari Ponce, Kenneth Rementilla, Amable Tolentino and Maria Cecilia Bitare.
Malacañang has yet to publish their appointment papers.
