








The Chaine des Rotisseurs Cebu Chapter year-end gala dinner is an event to look forward to. But contrary to past celebrations, where ladies donned formal evening gowns and gentlemen wore either dinner jackets, dark suits or Barong Tagalog, this year's attendees were requested to dress up in their most festive holiday attires.
Baille Delegue Michel Lhuillier and Bailli de Cebu Hans Eulenhoefer graciously welcomed everyone with perfectly chilled champagne and delectable hors de oeuvres prior to the six-course sit-down dinner at the grand ballroom of the Radisson Blu Hotel.
While toned down in keeping with the challenging times, nothing still prepared the members, their spouses and guests who numbered close to a hundred, for the understated elegant setting.
The menu lived up to everyone's expectations.
The evening's entertainment featured the talented brothers John Walt and Axel Bordario who dazzled everyone with their unique interpretation of classic Christmas carols and Broadway songs.
The dinner concluded with Fine Dining Awards presented to the hotel's officers, namely: general manager Bjorn-Henning Buth, executive chef Nicholas Van Riemsdijk, food and beverage director Mark Lester Apostol, director of events Loraine de la Torre, events manager Amapola Garcia, and most importantly, the hardworking and inspiring kitchen brigade.
