Over the last two decades, Galerie Joaquin has been at the forefront of Philippine visual arts. The gallery founded by Jack Teotico in 2002 takes pride in bringing its clientele the best Filipino modern and contemporary art.

Since opening a modest branch at the Podium in 2005, the gallery has become a major influence in introducing up-and-coming Filipino artists to the public.

Mario Parial, Lydia Velasco, and Carlo Magno are just some of the important creatives represented by Galerie Joaquin. Now, its roster includes father and son Gig and Vincent de Pio, sculptors Michael Cacnio and Daniel dela Cruz; and talents Ram Mallari, Marge Organo, and Dominic Rubio.

Galerie Joaquin eventually opened at new locations in various parts of the metro. In September 2021, it opened a sister gallery in Davao City's Azuela Cove. Recently, it mounted an expansion of branches located in Ayala Malls' One Bonifacio High Street in BGC, and Rockwell's Power Plant Mall.

Galerie Joaquin recently celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila.

Heading the thanksgiving affair was Fundacion Sansó's director Ricky Francisco and Galerie Francesca's managing director Susanne Tiausas. They acknowledged everyone who paved the way for the gallery's success. Distinguished guests included sculptor Ramon Orlina, society columnist Pepper Teehankee, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

Over a seven-course meal, guests were serenaded with songs by Adele, Abba, and even Loren Allred's "Never Enough."

Susanne Tiausas took to the stage to honor founder Jack Teotico and shared anecdotes on how she used to get messages from him at odd hours of the night to offer her a position and to share his ideas.
"Through it all, the gallery's main objective endures: To bring to light Filipino artistry with even greater resonance than ever. The past two decades chronicle important moments of bringing together artists, creative workers, collectors, patrons, and committed audiences that the group has engaged with over time," Tiausas said.
