Sen. Bong Go had his team provide assistance to disadvantaged residents in Tayug town on Friday, 9 December, as part of his efforts to ensure that no Filipino is left behind in the path towards recovery.
In his video message, Go expressed his confidence that the government, under the Marcos Administration will be able to provide better and intensified government programs for the poor.
Held at the municipal gymnasium, Go's outreach team provided snacks and masks to 300 struggling Pangasinenses. Meanwhile, select individuals also received cellular phones, shoes, and balls for basketball and volleyball.
Meanwhile, as part of the government's interventions to mitigate the impacts of the pandemic, the Department of Social Welfare and Development extended livelihood grants that the residents may use to start a small business to sustain their everyday needs.
