It's only apt that South Korea's BB.Q Chicken should open its doors for the Filipino market at Central Square in Bonifacio Global City.

The first BB.Q Chicken shop opened in 1995 in Seoul. Now, the Korean fried chicken is enjoyed by people all over the world, opening in over 3,500 locations in 57 countries.

"Due to the historic BB.Q results in the Korean market and rapid growth in North America, we opened here to serve as the Southeast Asian Hub of Genesis BB.Q Group to write a history of its success from the Philippines, the largest market in Southeast Asia," said LCS Group Korea CEO Jack Hyunsoo-noh.

BB.Q stands for "Best of the Best Quality," with the mission of serving "great-tasting, high-quality Korean fried chicken to the world" according to its website.

Each chicken is fried in olive oil for a healthier preparation and to make it more flavorful; then generously coated in a variety of flavors: Honey Garlic, Hot Spicy, Soy Garlic, Cheesling, Galbi, Spicy Galbi, Gang-Jeong (soy-based sauce with cinnamon blend and chili garnish), and Gangnam Style (a black pepper sauce balanced with garlic and onions). Its spiciest flavor is the Wings of Fire.

Those who wish to have it as is, without the coating, may opt for Original, Secret Sauce, or Spicy Golden Wings.
