Mirror, mirror on the wall… Who's the best dressed of them all? Well, we're about to find out! I'm so excited as I look forward to yet another year at the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines Awards Ball which will take place at the Shangri-La The Fort on 7 November. This is an event I look forward to every year especially because no less than the amazing lady, Angola Consul Helen Ong, has spearheaded the search-cum-fundraising gala for almost 2 decades, all for the benefit of the Philippine Cancer Society.

This power pack of philanthropists, headed by Tita Helen, has given so much relief to many Filipinos who are battling this truly difficult and resource-draining disease, cancer, and they deserve our best wishes and prayers for their continuing success. I'm proud to say that I've been a part of this since 2012 being one of the best dressed ladies and as an Ambassador for Life. and I will never stop supporting this worthiest of endeavors because I really believe in its impact on our kababayans in need.

I can only say with all my heart that Tita Helen and the BDWP board of directors have been consistent in their dedication and generosity with their time and resources. Even during the pandemic, when they could just hidden in the safety and comfort of their beautiful homes, they worked even doubly hard and launched the Coffee Table Book for the BDWP, thus assuring its success for everyone to enjoy and collect. This year, though, is special because we can all once again come out from our hiding and forced respite to attend this best attended Ball again and meet the new 21 Best Dressed Women and the rest of the equally admirable awardees.
