The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said 1013 aftershocks have so far been recorded following the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that jolted the province of Abra on 25 October.
Of the total number of aftershocks, 312 were plotted earthquakes and 22 were felt in the province and its neighboring areas with magnitudes ranging from 1.4 to 4.8.
Phivolcs reported the highest intensity at Earthquake Intensity Scale VII.
The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin and has a depth of 11 kilometers, injured 85 individuals.
Its epicenter was located seven kilometers Northwest of Lagayan, Abra.
